(Updated) Hamilton Police have arrested two men in connection with the murder of a former Hells Angel earlier this month in the city’s east end.

James “Louis” Malone was gunned down in the early hours of Saturday November 9th. Officers have arrested John Josipovic, 50, and 47-year old Mato “Michael” Josipovic, 47. The two brothers, who live in the Grimsby area, have been charged with first degree murder.

Mato has appeared in court and will remain in custody until tomorrow. John has also had his court appearance and is being held until another appearance on November 27th.

Detective Peter Thom wants to talk to anyone who may have been near another confrontation, that may be connected to the murder.

“There was an incident and what we’re looking for are witnesses who were around the Delta Main street around 12/1am Saturday, November 9th. We believe there was some kind of incident betwee three males and we’re looking for witnesses to that. We know there were people watching what was going on and we’re appealing for them to come forward.”

A police forensic team continued to search a Grimsby property where John Josipovic was arrested just after noon yesterday. Michael Josipovic was arrested at work around the same time in Milton.
Hamilton Police say the brothers grew up with Malone in the east end of Hamilton.
