Woman on e-scooter killed after east Hamilton collision

Hamilton police say a 62-year-old woman operating an electric scooter has died following a single vehicle collision Friday in the city’s east end.
Officers report that shortly after 5 p.m. a woman riding an electric scooter was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Maple and Grosvenor avenues.
The woman was transported to hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
