57-year-old man dead after single-vehicle crash in Haldimand County

A 57-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Haldimand County.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and other emergency crews responded to the collision on Highway 6 between Third and Fourth Line shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday.

OPP say the vehicle was travelling southbound when it left the roadway, entered a farmer’s field and crashed into a tree.

An officer and a firefighter attempted life-saving measures at the scene before the driver was transported to a local hospital.

Police say David Hugo Dolina of Norfolk County was later pronounced dead.
