Arrest made after man, 35, stabbed in Hamilton’s east end

Police say a 31-year-old Hamilton resident has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in the city’s east end Wednesday morning.

Officers say it happened around 11 a.m. in the area of Bingham Road and Glengrove Avenue.

Emergency crews arrived to find a 35-year-old man with stab wounds. He remains in hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

Hamilton police say the suspect has been charged with assault with a weapon.

Investigators say the pair involved in this incident know each other and there are no other suspects.
