The first electric car show was held at Hamilton’s waterfront this afternoon.

The rain held off and people were able to test drive the latest high-efficient plug-in and electric cars for free. Those who went for a test drive were entered into a draw to win a number of prizes including a Nissan Leaf.

The event was hosted by Plug ‘n Drive, a non-profit organization that promotes the adoption of electric cars.
