Prime Minister Mark Carney conceded that U.S. President Donald Trump “won the argument” over demands that allies ramp up defence spending.

Today, the NATO summit in Turkey wrapped up, with leaders saying the alliance is very much united. Allies also announced they will invest roughly $30 billion in fuel storage infrastructure, in part to help members meet Trump’s demand that the alliance spend five per cent of GDP on defence.
