DRAWING A LINE IN THE SAND

I am reaching out to our community with an anti-bullying initiative. With recent statistics showing that 77% of students feel they have been bullied, it is clear that we must work together to ensure families and schools have the tools they need to address this crisis. We want to have discussions around the steps parents can take if their child is bullied, including how to document incidents, report concerns, and seek additional support when necessary. Our goal is not only to provide the current guidance, but also to encourage families to engage in open discussions about what they feel is working in our schools and to share their suggestions for improvement. We would like to request your support in sharing this resource across HWDSB schools so that families can feel empowered, informed, and supported in protecting their children.
