Austin’s Pumpkin Patch in support of The Juravinski Cancer Centre

Each year our team contributes a bunch of time to help raise a bunch of money for our regional cancer centre, The Juravinski Cancer Centre, in Hamilton. Previously, this event was called the Juravinski Pumpkin Patch. Our event is now Austin’s Pumpkin Patch in support of the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
As you also may or may not know, local farmers and their families donate everything “fall” to the Patch and we offer it to you and the public for a donation. These donations go directly to the Juravinski Cancer Centre for the purchase of much needed equipment used to
treat cancer. In the last two years we have purchased 4 vital sign monitors and an Apheresis Machine used in Stem Cell Transplants. This year we are hoping to purchase at least 2 Immobilization Boards for the Radiation Unit.
Please come out to Austin’s Pumpkin Patch northeast of Waterford now and until October 31st at 2587 Cockshutt Road to purchase your pumpkins, corn stalks, straw bales, flowers and fall decor and/or to buy a raffle ticket for a fabulous quilt, “A Traditional Fall”. This handmade keepsake is also donated and again all proceeds go to JCC.
