Police investigate armed robbery in Hamilton

Hamilton police are searching for one suspect following an armed robbery in east Hamilton.

Police were called to the Big Bee Food Mart at 810 Main St. East just after 2 a.m. Monday.

No one was injured during the incident but police say a knife was seen during the robbery.

The suspect fled the area with an unknown amount of cash.

Officers and members of the Hamilton Police K9 Unit searched the area but did not locate the suspect.
