Steve has had an interesting and varied broadcasting career that has taken him around the world.
Starting in private broadcasting, he joined CBC Television and spent a decade in Western Canada reporting on various sports including the NHL and CFL.
In 1992 he moved back to Ontario and joined the Sports department at CHCH, focusing his attention on reporting amateur sports. Currently Steve delivers the weather forecasts for the Evening News.
Off the air, Steve works with a variety of non-profit organizations. He and his wife, Kym, are avid travellers and he plays drums in a band organized by realtor Judy Marsales. Steve and Kym have two children. The oldest is in sales, the youngest is on a soccer and basketball scholarship in the United States.
