Alleged sexual assault at TIFF

Police are looking for a suspect, after a 15-year old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Police released a partial photo of the suspect, who is described as:

• white
• between 45 and 55 years old
• around 5’6″
• was wearing a greyish-blue baseball cap with the words “blackcomb whistler” on it.

Police say it is alleged that the girl was assaulted while standing at a barricade with a crowd of people during the red carpet screening of “Life of Crime” around 6 on Saturday night in front of Roy Thomson Hall.

Police say the alleged assault may have been witnessed by an unidentified man.
