Young soccer players excited for Pan Am Games

320 young female soccer players made their way to Players Paradise in Stoney Creek to take part in the the Mount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club’s “Go Canada Go” Soccer Jamboree for girls under 11.

An opening ceremony featured Esther Pauls, Jim Cirillo and a Hispanic choir. The event received funding from the All Things Pan Am program, and revved up the buzz for this year’s Pan Am Games.

CHCH caught up with some of the athletes and its clear they’re fired up about the games and cheering on team Canada.
