Wrong way crash kills 1

There was a tragic crash on the Queen Elizabeth Way in Burlington Monday night.

One man is dead after driving the wrong way on the Toronto-bound lanes until he collided with another vehicle.

Three other men were taken to hospital after they were trapped in their vehicle.

The Toronto-bound lanes of the highway between North Shore Blvd. and Fairview Street in Burlington were closed for more than four hours until after 2am Tuesday.

A collision reconstruction team is still trying to determine why the elderly man who died was going in the wrong direction.
