A 48 year old Hamilton woman is charged with careless driving as a result of a crash that closed the southbound lanes of the Red Hill Valley Parkway for 16 hours.

The woman was driving the car involved in yesterday’s collision with a transport truck. While crews worked on removing the truck from a ditch, hazardous materials workers also spent much of the day on the cleanup, after diesel fuel from the truck spilled into Red Hill Creek.
