Winter weather makes for dangerous driving

White-outs in many parts of the golden horseshoe made for a treacherous drive Monday morning.

This comes after a weekend of high winds and blizzard-like conditions.

Driving can be treacherous, so slow down and allow extra time to get where you’re going. Provincial police say there were upwards of 1600 crashes over the weekend, including three that were fatal.
