Thousands of people enjoyed the beautiful weather today at the Waterdown Arts and Music Streetfest.

The second annual festival was held at Memorial Park in Waterdown. The event features 100 vendors, 20 food trucks and a beer and wine garden. Eight bands played during the day today, including the Kiss tribute band Destroyer.

Director Marylynn Carrieo says the event has had great feedback and they hope it continues to grow. “The feedback has been pretty good. There’s lots to do, lots for the families who are staying in town, lots for them to do.”

The two-day event raised funds for the MS society.
