WATCH LIVE: Prime Minister Trudeau provides COVID-19 update at 11:30 a.m.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be providing an update on COVID-19 Friday morning.

Trudeau will address Canadians on the COVID-19 situation and hold a media availability.

He will be joined by Minister of Health Patty Hajdu, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade Mary Ng and Minister of International Development Karina Gould.

Chief Public Health Officer of Canada Dr. Theresa Tam, and Deputy Chief Public Health Officer of Canada Dr. Howard Njoo will also be in attendance.

This event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
