The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s Lancaster bomber has left Iceland heading for home.

That’s good news after weather delayed this leg of the return flight by a couple of days. The next stop is Goose Bay, Labrador at about 3 pm.

Vera is expected to arrive back home in Hamilton on Sunday. Museum president and CEO David Rohrer is one of those flying her.
