The Burlington Curves women’s fitness club is holding a walk, Saturday, as a tribute to one of its former members, Helen Robertson, who went missing almost four months ago.

The ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’ is a 5 km event to raise money for the Hamilton-Halton Alzheimer Society in Robertson’s honour.

Robertson was last seen on Tuesday July 5 at her home on Millcroft Park Drive in Burlington. Many have expressed concern for her well-being.

The 79-year-old Burlington resident and avid walker, has Alzheimer’s disease and has wandered off in the past.

Joan Braithwaite, owner of the fitness club said many of the members knew Robertson.

Members of the club have raised $5,000 which will be given to the Hamilton-Halton Alzheimer Society.
