Walk for Alzheimer’s is back in person

Walk for Alzheimer’s is back this year and in-person! They are challenging you to walk and fundraise in honour of people living with dementia and those that care for them.

Aileen Bradshaw, director of development for the Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand-Norfolk, and Hamilton-Halton told Bob Cowan about the four different areas when the walks are being held on Saturday May 28th.

If you live in Hamilton the walk will take place at T.B. McQuesten Community Park at 1199 Upper Wentworth St.

In Oakville the walk takes place at Sheridan College Conference Centre at 1430 Trafalgar Rd.

In Jarvis the walk will be at Jarvis Lions Park at 1 James St. E.

In Brantford the walk will be held at Mohawk Park at 51 Lynwood Dr.

All walks take place 10am-noon, except the one in Jarvis which is from 10am-1pm.
