Volunteers clean up after rowdy street gatherings near McMaster University

Hamilton Police say they’re still adding up the figures today from last night’s unsanctioned McMaster homecoming party.

And there’s no word so far on the charges and fines they had been threatening.

There’s general agreement that the street party wasn’t as bad as last year.

But people who live near McMaster say the university should be doing more to take responsibility for these kinds of events.
