VIP guest at The Canadian Open

Thousands of fans have gathered in Oakville at Glenn Abby Golf Course to cheer on the golfers in the Canadian Open but a few families are getting the VIP treatment.

The RBC Canadian Open has partnered with Ronald McDonald House charities and a few families who have had to use the Ronald McDonald house got to be special guests at the open.

Little Grayson Hardwick isn’t old enough to play golf just yet but that could very well be in his future if he chooses.

Grayson was born 3 and a half months early weighing in at just one pound 13 oz.

Grayson spent 271 days at McMaster Children’s hospital his parents stayed at the Ronald McDonald house in Hamilton so they could be close by.

Each year, around 23 thousand families stay at a Ronald McDonald houses across Canada.
