UPDATE: Man wanted for sexual assault last month on Hamilton Mountain trail

First Published:

Police have update information on the man they are looking for after a sexual assault last month on a Hamilton mountain trail.

It is now believed he may attend or have recently graduated from a high school in the area. Staff and students at Hamilton high schools are being encouraged to take a closer look at the images of the suspect and contact police if they recognize him.

On July 13 at 9:30 a.m., a woman was walking near Upper Paradise and Donnici Drive on the West Mountain when she was dragged off the trail and assaulted. The attack was interrupted by witnesses walking by.

Police say they are also aware of several incidents on Hamilton trails since June.
