UPDATE: Two people killed following crash in Brant County

The names of the two drivers who were killed in a vehicle crash that happened in Brant County on Saturday evening have been released.

One driver has been identified as 25-year-old Michael Kovacevic of Stoney Creek. The other is 29-year-old Dillon Henry of Norfolk County.

Ontario provincial are also saying that a 29-year-old unnamed passenger from Norfolk County was also taken to local hospital with serious injuries.

The crash happened on Vanessa road, west of Highway 24, in the community of Scotland around 7:45 p.m. The OPP can confirm that the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions before colliding. They say a third vehicle hit one of the cars from the initial crash but the driver suffered no injuries.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are on scene to continue the investigation.
