Two people in hospital following head-on collision: OPP

Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision involving a school bus in Huron County.

Emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police believe a silver sedan and a school bus collided head-on on Wellington Rd. 124 near Sixth Line, just west of Erin.

A male in the sedan was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries and a female was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The female driver of the school bus was treated at the scene for minor injuries. She was the only person on the bus at the time of the crash.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
