Two people face drug charges following a break-and-enter investigation in St. Catharines, Niagara police say.
The investigation began in December, after a storage unit in an apartment building in the area of Vine St. and Carlton St. was broken into.
Detectives found some of the items from the storage unit for sale on Kijiji. They set up a meeting with the poster.
On Tuesday, a man and woman arrived at the meeting and were arrested.
Officers searched the pair and the vehicle and seized drugs, including about$7,600 worth of crystal meth and $3,000 worth of fentanyl, along with cash and suspected stolen property.
An accordion was also found in the vehicle.
“The suspects are not believed to be accordion musicians and detectives suspect it may be stolen,” said a police news release.
