2 people from Norfolk County charged after OPP seize drugs

Two people are facing a slew of charges after the Ontario Provincial Police seized ammunition, cash, and illegal drugs.

Police executed the search warrant at Talbot St. South, in Simcoe. During the search warrant six people were taken into custody without incident.

Zachary Elias Hunter, 26-year-old of Norfolk County, is facing nine charges – four being from possession for trafficking illicit drugs.

Alysia Cook, 22, of Norfolk County is facing six charges including drug offences and Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and fail to comply with release order.

Both accused are scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courthouse at a later date.

OPP are continuing to investigate and anticipate further arrests concerning these investigations. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact 1-888-310-1122.
