Two horses die in head-on crash

Two horses are dead after they collided head-on at Flamboro Downs last night.

Standardbred Canada says the horses Buckbuck Mach and A Sudden Twist had to be euthanized because they were so badly injured.

It happened during the 12th and final race. A break in stride by one horse set off a chain reaction.

Judges declared the race “no contest.”
