Niagara regional police removed two bodies from behind a home in rural Pelham this evening, a neighbour says the couple hasn’t been seen since Sunday.

Police are remaining tight-lipped and would not say who the victims are.

It was around eight o’clock this evening when officials removed the bodies from behind the home, and continue to guard the scene. Police did say the bodies are that of a man and a woman.

A neighbour says that the pair who live at the house are Jonathon and Christina, and that they may be in their forties. She told us Jonathan works at Brock University in St. Catharines but wasn’t sure what Christina does for a living.

She also mentioned the pair were very passionate about their love for one another and would often be seen showing their affection outside.

The neighbour doesn’t believe they have any children, but says Christina’s car hasn’t been at the house for 2 weeks.

She also said she hasn’t seen their cars move or lights come on at the house since Sunday.

Niagara police would not say who the bodies belonged to and since it’s so early in the investigation wouldn’t say much about what happened.
