More peaceful demonstrations were held here and around the world today.

The Prime Minister taking part in one of them.

Justin Trudeau was in the middle of a large anti-racist demonstration in Ottawa where he might have become the first world leader to take a knee in support.

Dale Manucdoc has the details.

  1. This is a sad time we all are living in.
Our leader might not be perfect but he takes a stand for what is right and lets his voice to be heard even when he stays silent. He is compassion and understands the cry of citizens that are asking for change. I stand for equality and justice.
I am proud to be Canadian and I am proud of our leader. Teresa DaSilva
