U.S. economy down 0.3% in Q1 amid tariff talks, Trump blames Biden

President Donald Trump has gotten worrisome news about how the U.S. economy is battening down for potential fallout from his tariffs.
The Republican president is trying to blame Democrat Joe Biden, who left office months ago.
The government reported Wednesday the U.S. economy shrank at an annual rate of 0.3 per cent during the first three months of the year.
It was slowed by a surge in imports as companies in the United States tried to bring in foreign goods before Trump imposed massive tariffs.
