With only a few months into his second term in office, U.S. President Donald Trump is already shaking things up within his administration.

Thursday, White House National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz and his deputy were ousted from their posts, just weeks after it was revealed that Waltz added a journalist to a encrypted messaging chat with security aides, discussing confidential war plans.

Trump says he is nominating Waltz to serve as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio will now serve as interim National Security Adviser in addition to continuing his job as secretary of state.
