Trump calls for ‘fair’ import taxes, eyes reciprocal tariffs

President Donald Trump has signed yet another memorandum about tariffs today calling for “fair” import taxes on all major U.S. trading partners.

The order asks the administration’s commerce secretary to evaluate the country’s trade relationships with other nations, with the end goal of identifying where “remedies” are necessary.

In each case, reciprocal tariffs may be put in place.
