A historic winter storm hammered the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area (GTHA) on Sunday, dumping record snowfall and paralyzing the region. Toronto saw nearly 60 centimetres of snow — the biggest single-day snowstorm in its history.

As Environment Canada warnings blanketed southern Ontario. Travel was treacherous, flights were cancelled, and thousands were digging themselves out this morning to get to work.
