Living conditions worsen in Cuba amid rising tensions with U.S. 

Cuba is still struggling to get day-to-day operations back up and running, after suffering another energy collapse earlier this week due to the U.S. oil blockade. The Cuban government says it’s in talks with the Trump administration to find solutions to the two countries’ differences, but the subject of the island’s political leadership is off the table.

Despite President Donald Trump’s claims, the U.S. will have the “honour” of taking Cuba, Cuban officials made it clear today they don’t share the same belief. While negotiations unfold, Havana locals continue to deal with fuel and electricity shortages.
