An Ontario judge has approved a $500 million dollar settlement in a class action against Loblaws, for its role in fixing the price of bread over a period of nearly fifteen years.

The resolution of this class action is just one part of the story.

Sure, Loblaws will soon have to repay its customers as part of the settlement, but when you consider the fact that it made $61 billion dollars in revenue last year, $500 million starts to seem like peanuts.
