A dark reminder, of how a third of all Jewish people, perished from the holocaust, in the second world war, at the hand of Nazi Germany.
On January 27 1945, 80 years ago today, the red army marched into Auschwitz-Birkenau and liberated hundreds of prisoners from the largest death camp in Europe.
