Immigration enforcement tensions rise across U.S. after shooting in LA County

VIDEO: In the wake of Renee Good’s death, the Minneapolis woman shot and killed by an ICE agent earlier in January, tensions over immigration enforcement across the United States continue to rise. On Wednesday another incident, this time in LA County, where officials say a Customs and Border Protection Officer shot at a man after being struck by their vehicle. In this instance, the Department of Homeland Security said the man they were trying to arrest had been wanted on a removal order since 2019.  Across the country there continues to be a deep split around the immigration crack down that’s taking place, with some officials supporting the enforcement efforts and others criticizing them as excessive and dangerous.
