Tractor trailer rollover on 401 in Milton

First Published:

A stretch of the 401 through Milton was closed today after a tractor trailer rollover.

Car parts spilled out of a tractor trailer after it rolled over on in the westbound lanes between Trafalgar road and James Snow Parkway around 10:30am.

Several lanes were closed in both directions as clean up crews were called in to get the scrap metal off the highway. The driver of the truck co-operated with police and late this afternoon he was charged with careless driving.

All lanes of the 401 re-opened shortly after 2pm.
