We’re learning tonight of the death of another member of Hamilton’s notorious Musitano crime family.

Tony Musitano was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 1983 for a series of bombings including a bakery. He was then convicted of orchestrating a murder while behind bars, that of Toronto mobster Domenic Racco, whose body was found dumped on a railroad track. Musitano was paroled in 1990. He was the uncle of Angelo Musitano, who was gunned down two years ago. Tony Musitano was 71 years old. The cause of his death this week has not been revealed. His funeral will be held next Tuesday.
