Workers and officials are getting down to the wire to get the Tim Hortons Field ready for the Labour Day Classic.

But there was some other work happening at the stadium on Thursday as well.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats held their second practice at the new field.

This practice was open to the media after Wednesday’s private workout.

The Ticats couldn’t get dressed there though because the lockers rooms weren’t finished yet.

Instead they got their gear on at their Jarvis Street head quarters and were bussed in.

The city says it may take until Sunday to secure an occupancy permit for the Labour Day Classic.
