Revenge will be on the minds of the Tiger-Cats defence when it plays in B.C on Friday. Should be a good test for Orlondo Steinauer’s guys because the Lions have one of the league’s top attacks led by QB Kevin Glenn and the league’s most productive offensive player Andrew Harris.

The B.C. Lions enter week 7 on a high after stunning the Stampeders with a late victory — something the Tiger-Cats defense is all to familiar with. Friday’s game gives them a shot at redemption as they face the former Ticat.

Marcellus Bowman: “We have a few leads as far as what we’re going to do, and how he’s going to play us. But you don’t want to make it too personal because you begin to play outside of your scheme and it starts to get a little messed up. So, we just have to focus and do our job.”

Brian Bulke: “We’re really putting a lot of onus on our backs this week. The defensive line and including the front about making sure we eliminate all the pushing and stuff they do and we just play tough defense.”

Another offensive weapon the Ticats “D'” will have to deal with is running back Andrew Harris. He’s a dual threat coming out of the backfield, leads the league in rushing and is 2nd in receiving yards.

Emanuel Davis: “I think that’s why Harris’ numbers are as good as they are because you get corners that are used to covering out on the edge and B.C. Does a good job of making those guys come into the box and play gaps like LB’s.”

Bowman: “He’s definitely one of the guys we have circled on the board. I think one of the things we have to do is just tackle, because he’s gonna’ get the ball one way or the other, out of the backfield or through the air.”

The Tiger-Cats and Lions are both coming off one point games, decided inside the final 2 minutes. If recent history suggests anything, you can expect more of the same on Friday night as the last 5 meetings at B.C. Have been decided by a combined total of just 5 points.
