Three-year-old killed after being struck by vehicle in Etobicoke

A three-year-old child has died after being struck by a car in Toronto’s west end.

Police say a man and two children were hit by a vehicle around 11 a.m. Tuesday, near the intersection of Burnhamthorpe Road and The East Mall in Etobicoke.

The three-year-old had no vital signs when emergency responders arrived at the scene.

Police say that child succumbed to their injuries.

The other child was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car was also taken to hospital.
