Three teens wanted for robbery in Welland

Niagara police say three teens are wanted for a robbery in Welland.

Police say on April 29 at around 2:12 p.m., officers responded to the area of Thorold Road and Chippawa Street for a welfare check.

Officers say they found a 12-year-old boy suffering from minor injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment and has since been released.

Investigators say the boy was assaulted by three teens and his personal items were taken.

Suspect one is described as white, 13-years-old, 5’1″, 135 lbs with long brown hair.

Suspect two is described as white, 14-years-old, 5’1″, 95 lbs with short brown hair.

Suspect three is described as white, 15-years-old, 150 lbs with brown hair.

Detectives say the victim and suspects are known to each other.

Police are asking residents with CCTV footage that captures Thorold Road and Chippawa Street and drivers who were in the area with a dash-camera, are encouraged to review their footage and contact police at 905-688-4111.
