Town of Fort Erie pausing launch of purchasing beach passes online

First Published:

The Town of Fort Erie is pausing the launch of a new online purchasing process for Bay Beach passes until the 2023 season. Until then residents of Fort Erie need to bring proof of residency or property ownership with them in order to receive free access to the beach.

Paid admission for non residents will begin on Friday June 3rd and will be available on-site at the beach. The cost for a day pass is $5.00 per person Mondays through Thursdays and $10.00 per person from Friday through Sundays and on holidays. Children 12 years and under can access the beach for free and do not have to be residents.

Operators of Short-Term Rentals will be contacted when Commercial passes become available. For updated beach information and to view daily capacity visit https://www.forterie.ca/pages/BayBeachAdmissionParkingRules
