The Burlington Lyrics & Poetry Festival celebrates the spoken word

It’s time for the Burlington Lyrics & Poetry Festival, the annual celebration of the spoken word by the Burlington Public Library. Lita Barrie, the CEO of the Burlington Public Library, shares the exciting schedule of performances, workshops and activities for all ages.

This year’s festival features a headline performance from award-winning hip-hop artist, LT The Monk, a virtual presentation by Griffin Poetry Prize nominee, Joseph Dandurand, and an open mic “coffee house” where amateur poets and songwriters can share their work.
