Thanksgiving Cocktails

If you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner, you will know there are plenty of things that need to be done right up to the carving of the turkey. The last thing you want to worry about are cocktails. Mixologist, Brendan Piunno from The Carbon Bar is here wish some great drink recipes.

1578 Sparkler (a light cocktail that won’t fill you up before dinner)

1 oz. Beefeater 24 Gin – The natural botanicals go great with all the spices

1 oz Pear Juice

1 oz. Honey Sage syrup

1/2 oz. Lemon Juice

Top with Proscecco

Garnish with sage leaf

The Baffin Fog ( with dinner)

1 oz. Woodford Reserve Bourbon

1 oz. Sortilege maple whiskey

2 oz. Red Delicious Apple juice

2 oz. Concentrated Earl Grey Tea – 5 bags/litre

1 oz. Lemon

1/2 oz. Egg White

5 dashes of Angostura Bitters

Garnish with cinnamon

Upper Canada Coffee (after)

1 oz. Lot 40 Canadian Rye Whiskey

1 oz. Kings Ginger Liqueur

2 oz. Station Cold Brew Concentrate

1/2 oz. simple syrup

Garnish with candied ginger to help with digestion
