A Hamilton man is in custody, in the murder last May of Elham Dashtirihamatabadi.

Patrick Sung Tae Smith, 25, was arrested Friday morning in Hamilton. He is charged with first degree murder.

Police believe Smith’s intent was to rob Dashtitihamatabi. She was working alone in the High Times bookstore when she was attacked on May 25th. She – and her unborn child – died two days later.
