The two teenagers who were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway Thursday have been identified. 18-year old Aaron Haire and 19-year old Kristine Williams both went to M.M. Robinson high school in Burlington.

Friends say 18-year old Aaron Haire and 19-year old Kristine Williams were high school sweet hearts.

“Aaron and Kristine were together for 4 years, they were a great couple, they had their ups and downs but they always got through it.”

“He was really into drums. He was a good guy, always telling jokes.”

“She loved cosmetology — hair, make-up, that was her passion. And Aaron just love to drum.”

Just after two o’clock Thursday afternoon Aaron and Kristen were involved in a three vehicle crash on the link between Garth and Upper James. They were in a Chevy Cavalier and both died on scene. The drivers of the other two vehicles, a man and a woman, were not seriously hurt. Aaron was a student at M.M. Robinson in Burlington and Kristine had graduated in June.

Tina Salmini, School Superintendent: “We are deeply sadden by the loss of two young people, our prayers and our thoughts are with the families. Our tragic events team has been working with all students and staff at the school today and will continue as long as it’s necessary.”

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
