City crews worked around the clock this weekend to keep up with a record snowfall.

Yesterday’s storm brought 18 centimetres, doubling the previous record for December 14. All the snow had residents shovelling for hours to dig out their homes and cars. Some older residents got assistance from the volunteer Snow Angels.

Elise Copps has more on how residents and city staff are coping with the winter weather.
